Favorite place for fajitas. Good fresh salsa. Located In an old service station so not fancy. Friendly people.
This place started a few years ago as a carbon-copy of Casa Torres in Decatur. The menu, recipes, and quality of food were the same and the food was delicious. Julio's was a great place to come and enjoy the same food without the crowds you would encounter in Decatur. On my most recent visit, however, none of that was true. The beef fajita quesadillas seemed to be marinated differently and were very small cuts of beef, not at all like Casa T. The flavor was lacking from what it used to be. The salsa even tasted like something from a jar. The food was so different, it makes me wonder if this place has changed ownership. I'm really not sure if I will visit again. It's not a bad place. It just doesn't measure up to its former glory.
We have been here the past few years so much we are on a first name basis with the workers at Julios. The owners are friendly, the waiter and cooks are friendly. I recommend this restaurant to all of wise county. Family friendly, fast, wonderful service. A relaxed atmosphere combined with well made meals hit the spot every time. When we visit, we aren't just customers, we are apart of the Julios family. They take the time to greet and converse with every customer.
